            What do I do with “Invalid User ID / Password” error?

            - The detail of the error message is “Please provide valid User Id and Password in your request”. This means that your TradeXchange Mailbox ID or password may be wrong.

            - Here are the steps you can do to check:
            i. Go to System Profile >> User Profile.
            ii. Note down the TradeXchange Mailbox Details (User ID and password).
            iii. Go to http://www.tradexchange.gov.sg
            iv. Try to login to the TradeXchange website with the ID and password that you obtained in step (ii) above.

            If you cannot login, this means the password that you have is incorrect. Please contact our Call Center or Customer Admin to fax/email you the correct TradeXchange password.


            If you have followed the above guide and it seems that your TradeXchange ID and password in TradeWeb is correct but still shows the “Invalid User ID / Password” error, it could be that you have recently reset your password, and the TradeXchange system did not process it correctly. Here are the steps you can do to resolve the problem:

            i. Go to http://www.tradexchange.gov.sg
            ii. Login to the TradeXchange website with the ID and password that you have.
            iii. Change your password at the TradeXchange portal using the Change Password link on the right hand of the page.
            iv. Note the new password that you have changed to.
            v. Go to TradeWeb Live! and enter this new password into System Profile >> User Profile.
            vi. Now do a send/receive transmission again and you should be able to complete the transmission successfully.
